Tim Gilliland - Pastor
-
Tim has served as our
senior pastor since 1997. He and his wife, Julie, served as North
American Mission Board missionaries to the Mescalero Nation for
almost five years from 1992 to 1997. During this time they also
worked in the area of resort missions and outreach in Lincoln
County. Tim has four boys ranging in age from preschool to college.
He is a graduate of West Texas State University and Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div). |

Garry Schwalk - Associate Pastor of Education and Outreach
- Garry joined the staff of First Baptist Church in July 2006. He leads the
staff responsible for the educational ministries of our church. He is also
responsible for leadership in our Mission and Evangelism ministries.
Garry has been married to his wife, Peggy for 35 years. They have two children,
a son and a daughter.
Garry is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary. |

Jeromy Ray - Associate Pastor Students and
Family - Jeromy joined our staff in April, 2007 and gives direction
to the youth, college & career and family ministries of the
church. His passion is to equip and encourage Christians to
develop a solid Bible-based foundation and worldview (that means
to see the world through God-colored glasses!), while taking
every opportunity to laugh and enjoy life before we reach our
true home! Jeromy, his beagle “Gracie” and “The Batmobile” make
their home within walking distance of the movie theatre. Kinda
cool, huh?

Katrinka Park - Director of Children's Ministry - Katrinka
joined the staff of First Baptist Church in August 2007where she is
responsible for programs for children who are in the 1st-6th grades.
She is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University and comes to us with
39 years teaching experience in public schools. She has spent many
years working in VBS, children's choirs, GA's, and world
evangelistic children's ministries. Katrinka wants to aspire
to inspire before she expires! Her philosophy includes the desire to
teach children to develop the full potential God had in mind when He
created them. |

Julie Gilliland - Praise & Worship Leader -
Sunday 11:00 a. m. Services - Julie is the contemporary Worship leader
at FBC Ruidoso. Julie is married to our Pastor Tim Gilliland. They have been
married 22 years. They have four boys, ages 19 years to 2 years of age. Tim and
Julie have been at FBC for ten years this summer. Julie shares, "It is my great
privilege and joy to lead worship in Spirit and Truth with this church family!" |

Tim Harrod -
Administrator - Tim joined the staff of First Baptist Church in 2003
as the Administrator. He is responsible for facility management,
financial management and administration of the Church. He graduated
from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and
retired from the United States Army in 2002. He holds an advanced
degree from the University of Texas, Austin, in Middle Eastern
Studies. Tim and his wife Aprill live in Ruidoso with their three
sons and daughter. |

Kim Elsey -
Director of Preschool Ministry -
Kimberly joined the staff in 2005. She
has been involved in various forms of children's ministry for 20
years. She is married to Mitch. They have two sons and one daughter. |
